Game Entry

Slots

A Blitz slot opens every day for games that start at 11:00 and 20:00 UTC, while the season runs. Join a slot from Play: entry is paid in LORDS from your linked payout wallet, at the season's entry fee (100 LORDS this season), shown on every slot. Link a payout wallet in Settings first; the slot's Link wallet takes you there and back.

Entry closes five minutes before the games start. There is no cap on a slot: at the close, everyone seated is split into games of up to 24 players, as even as can be and in the order they joined. For example, 25 players form games of 13 and 12. A game opens at its start time once its whole roster is seated, and ends at its scheduled end.

Your entry

Your entry reads Registered once paid, then Seated when your seat is drawn. A paid entry is Not seated when the wallet that paid was not the payout wallet of your Realms account, or when your account already holds a seat in that slot: the earlier entry keeps it. A slot that is cancelled leaves every entry unseated.

An unseated entry is refunded in full, with any sword or shield you paid for, to the wallet that paid. Press Take refund on the slot in Play once it shows.

The lobby

Registered players write in their slot's lobby chat; any signed-in player can read it. On a desktop, the roster shows each seat's Blitz rating.

Sword and shield

At entry you can add a sword, which doubles your rating gain in that game, and a shield, which halves your rating loss. Each costs one entry. A sword or shield credit won from a chest is used before LORDS. See Prizes and ratings.

When the game starts

The game shuffles its roster and settles three realms per player, with provisions and a starting guard. There is no settlement race. Each realm is dealt one troop type, Knights, Crossbowmen or Paladins, one realm of each, in an order drawn for each player (Armies). Play starts only once every player's realms are ready, and everyone gets the same scheduled game duration. Realm names come from their realm IDs.

Opening the game before it is ready shows your realms being prepared, with the roster's progress. A player who is not on the roster can watch.
